I agree with all that you have said, but my gut has said that the US was involved from the get go. The US controls the air/water/radio and everything else in that region. What would be so far fetched to believe that it was "hidden" from any other parties close or even concerned.

Keep in mind what the passengers of this plane were a part of:

Freescale RF has launched a major initiative dedicated to serving the RF power needs of the U.S. aerospace and defense (A&D) sector, and has established a team of specialists dedicated to supporting defense customers.

Freescale's commercial products can meet the requirements of applications such as:

Battlefield communications
Avionics
HF through L- and S-Band radar
Missile guidance
Electronic warfare
Identification, friend or foe (IFF)

The engineers in question were efficiency escorts in the Asia division. They worked with commercial electronics. The defense division is based in Texas.

Why in gods name would the US kidnap engineers that already work for them?

Do you have a source for this? I'm interested to read more.

There are multiple sources. They were based in Malaysia and China, and were working with factories in the area to make them more efficient.

They were experienced, high ranking engineers, but they were making plants more efficient.

At first I thought it was weird that this Corp would dump top scientists on to a plane that was working on top-secret cloaking tech, but it seems they were in the business of productivity....as Zaph stated.

Sounds like a red-herring to me, who else was on the plane? What else was on the plane? Like I said before concerning similarities with the Helderberg (also an Indian Ocean crash), there were both live targets and cargo targets on the the Helderberg. Could this be a similar case of a foreign government importing military technology or raw materials on a commercial airline, like the Helderberg (which was South Africa importing from the PRC and NK)? Was the PRC bringing "something" home?

Cheers - Dave
