My problem with the so-called "Chemtrails" is this, the entire populace, not to mention plants and animals are being sprayed. If there is an "Elite" group trying to kill off people well then are they not shooting themselves in the foot by killing all life! Sort of bad premise if it is population control!

Now if however they are modifying weather or trying to prevent problems with solar radiation I find that a more plausible reasoning behind it, not to mention the coloration to days when they would not be spraying. I remember them as a kid same thing on certain days. Other days there is not a cloud or trail in sight for weeks an end. So did they run out of money that day?

If you believe they are for population control give me a reason this is not killing the same people doing the spraying...

I believe they are trying to save mankind by creating either ozone or by reflecting the sun's heat to stop runaway global warming.

This is a video on You Tube made by a woman who films a bunch of chemtrails being created in her sky and what is interesting is that she films a plane flying over her home and at the same time films a live shot of Flightradar24 page which is supposed to show each plane in the air. There is no plane on the radar in the sky above her area as she films the plane creating a chemtrail. - See more at: www.abovetopsecret.com...

So flight radar 24 is supposed to show every plane flying or can some flights maybe not be logged on the site?

Obviously they are not all 'logged on the site' but then the next question is...for what reasons would they not be?

a few, one being posted by Zaphod.

Also, on your previous post you said that older planes don't have these transponders, but this info here says all commercial flights are equipped with a transponder. - See more at: www.abovetopsecret.com...

Was the plane a commercial plane that was filmed?

How do you think air traffic control radar works? The biggest part of ATC radar is Secondary, which relies on transponder signals to locate the aircraft. Which is why when the transponder is turned off the plane becomes extremely hard to track.

So then air traffic control doesn't actually use radar, they use transponders? That's your story and you're sticking to it.

Only so I can learn new things too.

www.flightradar24.com...

How it works
Flightradar24 is a flight tracker that shows live air traffic from around the world. Flightradar24 combines data from several data sources including ADS-B, MLAT and FAA. The ADS-B, MLAT and FAA data is aggregated together with schedule and flight status data from airlines and airports to create a unique flight tracking experience on www.flightradar24.com and in Flightradar24 apps.

ADS-B
How ADS-B works
The primary technology that we use to receive flight information is called automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B). The ADS-B technology itself is best explained by the image to the right.

Aircraft gets its location from a GPS navigation source (satellite)
The ADS-B transponder on aircraft transmits signal containing the location (and much more)
ADS-B signal is picked up by a receiver connected to Flightradar24
Receiver feeds data to Flightradar24
Data is shown on www.flightradar24.com and in Flightradar24 apps
Today, roughly 60% of all passenger aircraft (70% in Europe, 30% in the US) are equipped with an ADS-B transponder. This percentage is steadily increasing as ADS-B is set to replace radar as the primary surveillance method for controlling aircraft.

Did I say that? Because it sure looked like what I said was the biggest part of ATC systems used transponder tracking instead of a Primary radar beam.

Also, on your previous post you said that older planes don't have these transponders, but this info here says all commercial flights are equipped with a transponder. Are you saying that Flightradar24 isn't up to speed to track all planes?

Again, is that what I said? I believe I said the right type of transponder. Older commercial aircraft are set up with a transponder that only broadcasts when it receives a coded signal from a Secondary radar antenna. Newer aircraft, as well as some older aircraft that have had the transponder changed, use a new type of transponder that broadcasts its signal regardless of whether it receives a coded signal or not.

Without this type of transponder the only way that FlightRadar24 would be able to track aircraft would be to install a LOT of Secondary radar systems all over the world (they only have a range of about 250 miles or so, similar to Primary radar). Or, they could rely on the new transponder, and buy a bunch of receivers for it, and send them to people willing to install them on their internet connections, and upload the information received for FR24 to use.

Maybe if I trusted my government more I could get behind this, but there isn't a whole lot that they are doing right now that strikes me as benevolent. The whole we're lying to you to help you stuff just doesn't resonate with me.

A little off topic but is there any good reason why pilots have the ability to turn the transponder off?

Yes, obviously. Again no help for the food, perhaps the elite do not eat...

Aircraft have circuit breakers at the pilots ready in case something needs to be shut down due to malfunction or fire.

So they can shut down key systems, but the transponder should always be on. If you fly without one, and you find yourself with a fighter jet escort, you have to do some explaining as to why you don't have a transponder, or become a flaming ball of fire.

I hear ya. I have thought of this as well.

There are 13 bloodlines of the illuminati and 86 families hold the majority of the wealth. I'm sure they have amazing palaces on private islands or tucked away in the mountains. I don't think they get sprayed in their "pristine" corners of the world. But I don't know. It's a theory.

Hell, maybe David Icke is right and they are reptillians, lol, in which case they could be terraforming....

We've all read the documents, seen the monuments, know that they want to reduce the world population from 7 billion to half a million. Why not give us all cancer and make money of us as we seek medical care?

I don't know who or what but I know it's something. I base it on what I've researched and what I've seen with my eyes.

Thanks, I had been thinking about mh370 and why the pilot would be in a position to make a plane nearly invisible. Sorry op for taking things off track a little.

Basing your research off of something you believe is correct is confirmation biased. Using empirical data is flawed. I am not saying there are not Elites I believe there are. However I have no real evidence they are Alien or have an agenda to wipe out humanity. In fact I have seen a lot of evidence to the contrary. Again they do not all live on some island in the ocean where the effects of contrails do not occur. Also contrails are worldwide so if there was spraying of chemicals the effects would impact (and do) on a global scale. They Elites would not escape to some remote corner of the earth to wait for the rest of us to die (of old age LOL).

You contradict yourself with your own statements.

How could you know whether there are or aren't aliens or what agenda they would have? What evidence have you seen that prove this statement correct?

How could you know if they live on an island in the ocean?

I'm not saying I believe that, just pointing out your confirmation bias. I point out again just so it's known that I don't believe chemtrails are for population control, but rather for climate control.

There is a difference between ADSB and transponders that I do not think has been adequately explained here in laymans terms.

Firstly transponders - as has been said they are an essential part of ATC systems, and all aircraft that fly in controlled airspace are required to have them and have ben for many years now - even gliders.

A transponder responds to a signal it receives - it sends back information when it gets "pinged". Transponders started as the "Identification friend or foe" (IFF) systems first used in WW2. The "ping" is from radar, and usually the transponder is sending an identification code and altitude information - the radar is still plotting it's horizontal position in 2 dimensions.

ADSB is fundamentally different - it uses GPS or similar onboard the aircraft to compute it's position in 3 dimensions, and can also compute speed and heading. It then BROADCASTS IT.

So any station equipped with a receiver and appropriate decoding software can map where any aircraft within broadcast range is - there is no need for any form of land-based radar at all. Such equipment and software is built into the system itself.

ADSB information can also be used to improve the predictive capability of Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems - TCAS - which currently operate using transponder information.

ADSB is not compulsory - it is due to become compulsory in the US in 2020. In Europe larger and faster a/c will be required to have it by 2017. As a result it is not and never will be fitted to many older aircraft that are expected to be retired before the due date wherever they are operated.

some asked above whether "Flightradar24" should be called "flighttransponder24" - but that would be no more accurate as a descriptor because it does not use transponders.

And yet they've irradiated the planet for decades by detonating thousands of nuclear bombs. They dont appear to be too concerned about the health of the planet or any of the people on it.

What about UAV's/drones?

17 Civilian Drone Facts You Really Should Know

What about spy drones?

What about military exercises?

What about military fly-overs 'keeping airspace safe' like in NATO countries?

NATO countries actually pay for this if they can't supply the planes themselves and do you think a flight tracking system for the public is going to put these positions on the boulevard?

Drones in controlled airspace are or will be required to have the same equipment - otherwise the controlled airspace isn't required.

I say "are or will be" because it depends upon het status of legislation in individual countries.

Was that your point - 'cos otherwise it looked a bit off topic and gish-gallopy.....

The only large UAV in use anywhere is the RQ-4 Global Hawk. They are limited in numbers, and can't fly over US airspace without an escort. Very few UAVs fly near commercial aircraft height.

They won't advertise military aircraft? Really? An E-3B in an active combat zone near Libya was tracked on FlightRadar24. E-6Bs, RC-135s, KC-135, and many more military aircraft show up on it.
