Lol...(((slurp)))..
It's the stuff.
I say we may have run adrift of the thread. This was to be about loving animals in time of needed love.
(((Slurp)))...
Makes me love my puppy more..
Animals can be so forgiving to us humans.

Y U make big tough Aussie cry? [raises fist]

Words can't express how beautiful this is.

Further proof that our non-human friends share the same traits that we do.

S&F brother (or sister??)

Anthropomorphizing.

That giraffe is a serial killer, I know it.

"Hmmmm your impending death taste so sweet and yummy, lemme lick more of it off your head."

O.o

It is so!!!

Animals are much more aware and sensitive than we give them credit for.

I have a dog that knows when someone is sick. She will not leave their side and insists on cuddling with them, no matter who they are.

This brought a tear to my eye. Thank you for sharing.

Soon after this picture was taken, a Danish zookeeper was seen escorting the giraffe to be euthanized, since the giraffe obviously served no purpose existing on the planet...

You are very welcome.

Animals are indeed more aware than us, perhaps to do with the manipulation we humans encounter every day

I have two sheep dogs that are the same. Oscar who is a rare breed, long legged Welsh sheep dog will comfort my wife not only when she is ill but also when she has had a bad day at work. Ruby, my other Cumbrian sheep dog does nothing else but lick my skin and help me with my Psoriasis.

Thank you for popping in my friend

Ya know Op your avatar George Carlin would be sickened by using a perfectly normal animal behavior to convey some emotion or sympathy that is Clearly imagined on the part of the observer.

This is just a coincidence, nothing more can be inferred without actual extensive study of the giraffe's brain under carefully controlled laboratory conditions. Believe what you like but those are the facts.

Don't get me wrong, I believe animals CAN have empathy for humans - I see it in my cat when one of us is sick but I disagree on using this as proof of something concrete going on like the animal actually knowing the man is sick and dying and to that extent KISSED HIM as if to say, " Thank you for caring for us" - thats a BIG stretch.

I'm not George Carlin and don't claim to think like him. I'm living my own life.

I never claimed it as proof.

You bring what you want to the table. I however will continue to go with feelings over your facts because sometimes, just sometimes feelings are all it takes.
