I've smoked pot nearly half my life and I ain't that old, I do know paranoia well whether it was my own or what I've witnessed. Nightmares are often of our own design as in: it's a form of perception. They can be turned around, I rarely even have bad dreams anymore although I can occasionally be found rather peeved to put it politely.

I'm definitely not saying see a shrink or anything and I hope that writing this doesn't come across as offensive although I would say if thoughts and actions become too much it might be worth sharing them with a professional. Personal experience there is they only care if there's a threat to yourself or others. That said, if a chat with a so called professional alters your own perception then it might be a less harmful route for all.

Hmm. When I do smoke pot these days I notice how overactive my mind has been, to the point I'm telling myself I'm an idiot and the rest of it. I'm unsure it's the smoke giving the overactive mind or just my perception noticing I'm being slowed down. Something to consider...

So forgive my blunt short answers.

No worries
it happens. Highs and lows bore me more than a desireless existence, I understand how tiresome it can be so you have my sympathies. You also have my help if there's a way I can be of assistance.

This is one of the straightest and thoroughly unconcerned threads I've seen in a while, respect.

How's the art coming along, you still paint?

Thank you humbly.

I've traded my brush for a quill.

Or pen and paper, if you will.

In a manner of speaking.

You think the new resting mode affected creativity or the workflow?

How much do you sleep, what's the sleep schedule?

I admit Da Vinci's method seems interesting.

If much rather have several half hour naps a day.

I rest throughout the night when I'm not working.

But it's all broken up in many sections.

I wake up roughly every 2 hours.

Check the time, head back.

It's kind of a joke...

As for creativity, it's kind of a trick question...

I'd rather not get into that, considering all things.

I work 12 hour shifts at night, so that's fine.

Although I admit, the last 2 hours I fall.

I feel sleepiness until I'm done.

Then I take a short nap.

Then I'm fine again.

I know those feeling all to well, but an old Shaman told me a remedy and it works well.

At first sign of distress, eat 3 pepper corns, chew them well and wash them down with a pint of cheap wine.

keeping with the theme....

i look at you

the blase' people rise

as I look into

their exalted faces

i get excited....

Looking back I probably could've rephrased what I said. The mind is a wonderfully adaptive thing and 99/100 I'd say my thoughts are not troubling whatsoever, I'm more than comfortable with having an 'active' mind and I do understand there's many ways of thinking.

Smoking pot slows some thinking but enhances others especially on the "coming up" part of the experience, there's a few ways of tempering that
not the best place to talk about it though. Drinking before a smoke or after has some huge differences too which I'm sure you know about. These days a smoke after a drink would mess me up, the other way round would probably be very pleasant.

Peppercorns improve mood and fight melancholy, I didn't know that! These days I garden...

Nice bit of poetry, I feel I'm missing something within it though

Soon you will have "inception" where you will wake up from a dream in another dream...and then you will start to receive visions to help with humanity ascension.

I sleep no more.

I'm awake.

It's been several months since my transformation.

They asked me why I don't sleep anymore, and I answered "because I'm awake."

I used to sleep like a baby.

Took me a while to fall deep, but when I did, I was gone.

God knows where I went, but I wasn't here anymore.

When I awoke, I felt heavy and confused.

It took me a while to return and fully awaken.

Now, it's not the same...

I don't sleep.

I don't dream.

I just close my eyes, and become slightly less aware of my physical self, whilst there is greater focus on my thoughts and a continuation thereof.

Then when I feel like it, I open my eyes and instantly I'm back.

No longer do I feel as if I traveled elsewhere.

Gone is the heaviness and confusion.

I no longer need a time of adaptation to fully awaken.

It is instantaneous and I get up and walk about as I did before resting.

That's what it's become; resting, not sleeping.

It's not that I miss it, but it's just different now.

I guess this is part of growing up.

At least I can still daydream!

^_^

P.s.

I don't feel tired anymore.

Well, that's a lie...

My soul is exhausted...

My spirit is worn out...

My body is rejuvenated.

So there's that.

Yep...meth mixed with fentanyl is a hell of a drug....eventually when the high wears off you will sleep for days....and days.

If you dont sleep you will go nuts period.

No ifs, no buts, no coconuts.

For most people that's about a week before some sorts of serious psychological break.

I managed about 8 days before seeing semi-translucent versions of people both dead and alive.

I don't recommend it.
