So this dropped yesterday, the whole album drops June 2.

m.youtube.com...

Rancid has been my favorite band since I first heard them in 94. Before that it was Op Ivy...half of Rancid.

I played this through my house PA. It is a 1000 seat house and the system kills.

This sounded amazing! Can't wait for the whole album and supporting tour.

I love the energy and passion I hear in their music.

I hope you enjoy.

i'm also a Rancid fan.

...also love the stuff Tim Armstrong did with Transpalnts back in the early 2000s. 'Sad But True' is a wall of sound masterpiece,

Have you heard Raid yet? It is Jesse and Tim back together....under the band name of Bad Optix.

It will always be a toss up of And Out Come The Wolves and Life Won't Wait for me.

Transplants rocked. Saw em on Warped Tour after the first? Album.

Their music is air tight. For me, I feel it has the 60's vibe. Thanks for posting. Like the bass is jamming along.

I truly believe Matt Freeman is the best bassist in punk rock.

I've got a bass, although I'm mostly a guitar play, that's why I mentioned his playing. His playing has a musical spirit that attracts ones danceable feelings in our heads.

Yes I've heard the Bad Optics stuff.
It's really good. I'm always finding new music that Armstrong has done with other people.
I saw a recent photo of him with a real long beard. I didn't even recognize him!

What kills me, is he is a Grammy winner.

For his work with Jimmy Cliff.

He also wrote Trouble with Pink. I know she won a Grammy for it, and I think he did.

It is crazy to me just how big he is in music itself, not just being in Rancid/Op Ivy, but as a writer and producer, and co owner of Hellcat Records.

And yet most people wouldn't know who he is if he bumped into them.
